Turn Grok into your GEO Operator
Connect your SEOforGPT workspace so Grok can find missed buyer prompts, competitor wins, cited-source gaps, and the next action worth taking—for one brand or an agency portfolio.
Requires a Grok account and an onboarded SEOforGPT workspace.

Connect the hosted MCP in regular Grok today.
Your live evidence
Work from authorized prompts, competitors, citations, and trends.
Approval controlled
Publishing, public links, and outreach remain explicit gates.
Choose the operator for the job
The operator defines the job. The connector gives it secure access to your SEOforGPT data.
GEO Operator
Owns the evidence-to-action loop for one brand and returns the next work worth doing.
- Find lost buyer prompts and competitor wins
- Prioritize citation, content, and readiness gaps
- Prepare the next approved action and measure movement
Agency GEO Operator
Prioritizes client and pitch workspaces while keeping every project, quota, and deliverable isolated.
- Rank the portfolio by urgency and evidence freshness
- Create separate client briefs and next actions
- Track blockers, quota impact, and approval gates
Choose how Grok connects
Start with the custom connector for regular Grok. Use the plugin package for persistent agent environments.
Grok custom connector
The fastest path for most users. Add the hosted SEOforGPT MCP, complete OAuth, and ask Grok to work with the project you select.
Grok Bot, Cursor, and Grok Build plugin
The public package contains the hosted MCP configuration and both GEO operating skills. Marketplace installation will be available after submission and platform approval.

Hosted MCP URL

“Use SEOforGPT for the project I select. Show what changed, where the brand is missing or outranked, the strongest competitor and citation signals, and three prioritized next actions. Cite the current evidence. Do not publish, contact anyone, or create a public link.”
Clear boundaries before the first run
Grok can prepare meaningful work while SEOforGPT permissions and your approval rules control what happens next.
Current data, not Bot memory
Changing metrics should always be refreshed from SEOforGPT and tied to the active project.
External actions stay gated
Live publishing, outreach, public reports, and out-of-mandate quota use require authorization.
Grok is not a measured provider
This lets Grok use SEOforGPT. It does not add Grok answers to visibility scores or provider comparisons.
Questions before you connect
Practical answers about accounts, data access, Bots, and publishing.
Can I connect SEOforGPT to Grok?
Yes. In Grok, open Connectors, create a Custom connector, enter https://www.seoforgpt.io/mcp, and complete OAuth with your SEOforGPT account. Grok can then use the projects and tools that account is authorized to access.
What does the SEOforGPT GEO Operator do?
The GEO Operator reviews one brand’s current AI visibility evidence, finds missed buyer prompts, competitor wins, cited-source gaps, and website-readiness issues, then recommends the next three actions worth taking. It can also prepare approved briefs, drafts, and recurring reviews.
How do I set up the GEO Operator in Grok?
Connect the hosted SEOforGPT MCP, copy the GEO Operator profile into a focused Grok Bot or conversation, ask it to list your authorized projects, and select the exact workspace. Validate one manual review before creating a recurring routine.
Do I need an SEOforGPT API key to use it in Grok?
No. The hosted MCP uses OAuth, so you sign in to SEOforGPT and approve access without pasting an API key into Grok, a Bot profile, or a prompt.
Is the SEOforGPT plugin available in the Grok Bot marketplace?
The public plugin package is ready but is not listed in the marketplace yet. Until submission and platform approval are complete, regular Grok users can connect SEOforGPT immediately through a Custom MCP connector.
Should I use the GEO Operator or the Agency GEO Operator?
Use the GEO Operator when one Bot owns the work for one brand. Use the Agency GEO Operator when you manage several client or pitch workspaces and need strict separation of evidence, quotas, reports, and approvals.
Can the GEO Operator run automatically every week?
Yes, with a Grok Bot routine after you validate the workflow manually. Define the project, cadence, timezone, data-freshness rule, output format, quota mandate, and approval boundaries first. A regular Grok custom connector does not schedule recurring jobs by itself.
Can Grok create or publish content through SEOforGPT?
It can analyze gaps and prepare briefs or drafts when the connected account allows those actions. Live publishing, external outreach, and public report links remain behind the explicit approval rules you configure.
What data or credentials are shared with a Grok Bot?
SEOforGPT access is granted through each user’s own OAuth session and is limited to authorized projects. A shared Bot profile does not copy the creator’s password, login, computer, conversation history, or private customer data.
Does SEOforGPT track how my brand appears in Grok answers?
Not in this integration. Grok is the agent interface using your existing SEOforGPT evidence; its answers are not added to SEOforGPT visibility scores, rankings, citation tracking, or provider comparisons.
